Steve Jobs passed away yesterday at the age of 56.
An excellent profile of the man and his insights and wisdom is available in this 2005 commencement speech from Stanford.
I’m not really sure what more to say. Apple II users Dan Bricklin, Bill Budge, Chris Espinosa, John Romero, and Wil Wheaton do.
Did I agree with everything he did? No way!
Do I think he was one of the most amazing business leaders we’ve ever seen? Absolutely!
Despite using Windows at work and home, I own Apple IIs, Macs, an iPod, an iPhone and an iPad. I wonder what would’ve happened if I liked everything he did!
The world will be a less colorful place in his absence.
